Since 1996, BigMind Media has offered customized website solutions and strategic consulting in online communication and web systems integration. BMM believes in the potential of web-based Internet technologies to support communications, communities of practice and improved relationships within organizations.

In 1999 BMM launched BigMind Catalyst, its online collaboration software, which is currently being used by many organizations as their primary communication infrastructure tool.

Our Founders

Richard Parker has a wide variety of experience in education and business including a background in sales, strategic planning, community and organizational development. He serves as a School Board Director for the South Whidbey School District. He also ran his own flight school in Colorado, was a former Director of Sales/Marketing for a local phone company, and taught for 10 years in the pubic school system.



Gabriel Shirley has indepth experience with all facets of the business, including software design, project management, customer relations, online learning, and programming. He is an innovator at translating systems-oriented strategic thinking into open-architecture social technologies.
